Staff from the Trust’s Learning Disabilities service have been recognised for their exceptional work in the recent Celebrating Success event organised by NHS Lincolnshire.

Dr Enrique Bonell, Mary Butcher and Helen Hawes from Long Leys Court, won an award in the Care, Courtesy and Kindness award in metal health services category, at the event which took place on Tuesday 9 February at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa.

The campaign awards recognise exceptional health care staff, teams or services that deliver above and beyond. Nominations were invited from patients, carers and relatives for those deserving recognition for demonstrating courtesy, kindness, dignity and respect through all aspects of their work.

Sharon King, general manager for specialist services said: “I am very proud of the team, the award is well deserved as they do an excellent job and always offer a very caring and patient focussed service.”
