The Trust’s Board of Directors is made up of five Executive Directors, the Chairman and six Non-Executive Directors. The Council of Governors appoint the Chairman and Non-Executive Directors of the Board for fixed terms, up to three years. The Chief Executive and Executive Directors are appointed by the Non-Executive Directors to permanent contracts on the basis of open competition. The Board of Directors holds a meeting on the last Thursday of every month. These meetings are not open to the public. Members of the public can attend meetings of the Council of Governors.
